Winstar WH1602D is a 16x2 character dot matrix LCD display module with built-in ST7066 controller IC or equivalent; its default interface is 6800 4/8 bit parallel. The display is also available in SPI and I2C interfaces by using the RW1063 controller IC. The WH1602D comes in several different backlight colors, including blue, green, white, chartreuse, amber, red, white, and RGB LEDs. The ST7066 IC is available in different character fonts/texts including English/Japanese, English/Western European, English/Scandinavian or English/Cyrillic (Russian).
