Transformer manufacturers deal with High frequency transformer non-operation accidents in daily operation, and find out the essence of the problem through inspection and testing. When the transformer suddenly stops running, the high and low voltage sides will be affected by large currents. In a short period of time when the circuit breaker is too late to break, the electromotive force generated by the current that is proportional to the square of the current will act on the transformer, which is divided into radial force and axial force.

High frequency transformer

When not in operation, the radial force acting on it will cause the High pressure to bear the tension and the low pressure to bear the pressure. The axial force generated by the sudden inaction causes the wire to be compressed, resulting in high and low displacement, and the axial force also acts on the iron core and the clip. Therefore, when the transformer is suddenly shorted, the low voltage and balance are deformed, followed by the high and medium voltage wire sets, cores and clips. After a transformer short-circuit accident occurs, in addition to checking the main lines, cores, clips and other components, the transformer manufacturer reminds everyone to pay attention to a series of related issues in the processing process:

When the high frequency transformer is not operating, the windings are subjected to various forces, such as compression, tension, bending, etc. Under the action of electric power, the fault is hidden and difficult to check and repair. Therefore, it is very important to check the condition of the wires after there is no fault.

In addition, according to the measured value of the DC resistance of the transformer, the unbalance rate of the DC resistance of the winding can be checked and compared with the previous measured value, the damage of the transformer wire can be effectively investigated. For example, after a short-circuit accident of a transformer, the C-to-DC resistance on the low-voltage side increases by about 10 points, and it is judged that the wire may have new strands. Hanging line inspection, found that the C-phase line is broken.

The wire capacitance consists of winding turn-to-turn capacitance, interlayer capacitance, cake capacitance and winding generation capacitance. There is a certain gap between them. When the wire is deformed, it is generally bent into an "S" shape, resulting in a smaller gap distance between the winding and the iron core, and a larger capacitance between the winding and the ground. The smaller the gap, the greater the capacitance change, so the capacitance of the High frequency transformer wire can indirectly reflect the deformation degree of the wire.
